1966 Gibson SG Special
Up for auction is a 66 Gibson SG Special in very nice condition. One owner guitar that was played and enjoyed over the years. It's all original except for a set of klusion tuners that were used on one side in place of the original Japan tuners used in 66 and 67. I replaced the Klusions with another matching set on the one side, so there are three extra holes on one side only. Also, the P90 covers were off the guitar and the tip on the bridge P90 was once broke and reglued. So, thats the only issues except for some typical players wear. An excellent playing guitar with a typical 1 9/16 wide neck @ the nut with nice low action, and very little fret wear. The p90's pack plenty of punch and excellent tone, and plenty of sustain from the light 6 pounds 12 oz weight. The guitar comes with the original Guild Jet Star case that was sold with the guitar when new. So, if you want a nice SG Special you won't be disappointed with this one.
