Gibson Custom debuts fourth Limited Edition 10th Anniversary model - SG Custom
Custom Shop 10th Anniversary series. The 10th Anniversary SG Custom is the fourth and last in a series of limited-edition models commemorating the 10th Anniversary of Gibson's Custom division. Previous models are the L-4 Thinline, CS-356 and Les Paul Custom.
10th Anniversary features. The SG Custom, like all the models in the 10th Anniversary series, sports a distinctive Diamond White sparkle finish that is not offered on any other Gibson guitar. Other features include highly engraved gold-plated hardware, an ebony fingerboard and pearl block inlay with "10th anniversary" engraved at the 12th fret
Gibson's Custom Shop. Gibson has made custom-order instruments for over 100 years, and Gibson has used the Custom Shop designation on special and limited-run instruments since the 1970s, but the Custom division was not established until 1993. The Custom, Art & Historic division is housed in its own facility on Massman Drive in Nashville, two doors down from the Gibson USA plant.
SG Customs. Gibson's SG guitars, distinguished by their bold, pointed horns, thin solid body and fast neck, debuted in 1961. The original four SG models followed the ornamentation scheme of the Les Paul line, with the SG Custom at the top. The only SG Custom in current production is a reissue of the early '60s "Les Paul/SG" style, offered in the Custom divison's Historic Collection.

That was the press release when the guitar was first announced by Gibson. A few things they did not mention...the gold plated hardware is 24kt and each guitar has hand engraving meaning that no 2 are alike. This guitar has diamond dust in the actual paint, the sparkle is magnificent!
My guitar was purchased brand new and has never been played! It is in MINT condition!!! Comes with case and all the candy originally offered. I do have the certificate of authenticity.
Do not confuse with the re-issue model which was offered in heritage red as well as white, they are not this model! Note the 3 pick-ups. She sounds like heaven!!!!
