For sale is a beautiful mahogany 1972 Gibson SG with the classic Lyre tremolo. I say it's a '72, but it might be older. 1972 is the latest that it could have been made, with 1970 being the earliest. Gibson's serial number system was a little dodgy during that time. Anyway, it's an amazing guitar. I've had it for about 10 years but haven't played it for about a year and half. It's just been hanging on the wall, carefully dusted, as you see here. The bridge you see in the photo is "antiqued" new but I have the original bridge in the original guitar case which of course, comes with the guitar. Sad as it may be, I have to part ways with this beautiful piece of gear. I'm getting married and I want to treat my girl to a sweet honeymoon. You know you want to be the next owner of this guitar, so help a brother out so I can treat my lady right!
