Gibson SG Guitars

Hi folks.  Here is a very clean, nice earlier (2004) Epiphone by Gibson Elitist 1961 SG Reissue from the famed Fujigen plant in Tokyo, Japan.

They stopped making these a few years ago because they competed too closely with Gibson's high end guitars; destined to be collectibles.

Comes in OHSC with case candy (see pics).  Very little use and no fret wear.  Gorgeous bound neck thats straight and tight. 

This neck is somewhere between slim taper and late 50's early 60's radius.  Very comfy and plays like a dream.

Excellent tone too.  All USA made elctronics and hardware in the Elitist series.

The only difference between this SG and a USA made Custom Shop version (besides the price...) is the Elitists are not finished with

nitrocellulose lacquer.

Everything is here and it all works like new.  No issues outside of a few very minor, fine pickguard scratches and maybe a minute ding or two that are not visible (especially with photos in high gloss black finish).  A solid 9 / 10.
