2010 Gibson SG Les Paul Standard Maestro VOS Reissue!

The VOS Standard reissue offers players the classic SG outline and looks of the early Les Paul/SG model. Made in the Custom Shop to the highest standards of quality. A solid mahogany body offers up the big tone these guitars are known for. The solid mahogany neck features a bound rosewood fingerboard with pearloid trapezoid inlays. Dual Burstbucker pickups pump out snarling sustain. A Tuneomatic bridge, Maestro vibrato and Kluson style tuners round out the hardware. The classic heritage cherry red lacquer finish is “the” finish for an SG. It has the VOS treatment for a cool, vintage look.  One of the industry's biggest icons, no collection is complete without an SG!

This SG has the famous slim profile SG neck and feels great. Low action and a straight neck make for good playability. The pickups work and sound excellent. This is a great looking guitar too. It has the VOS finish which means it already has an aged look. It has the vibe of a lightly used guitar thanks to a factory dulled finish, aged hardware and light scratches. A cool look! This guitar is in New Old Stock condition. Almost zero playtime and showing only the slightest shopwear. As clean or cleaner than many guitar being sold as new in stores. Comes in original hardshell case.

The VOS reissue SG is probably my favorite SG in Gibson’s line. I can’t argue with the look of the small pickguard and beveled body. The tone is easily one of the most recognizable out there. If it floats your boat too, you can buy a new one for $3099 at the big shops. This one is priced well below that. BUY IT NOW and own a great SG!
