Gibson SG Guitars

PAYPAL ONLY.  Up for auction is a genuine made in the USA 1981 Gibson SG Standard Left Handed model in good working condition.  Original cherry red finish.  Guitar plays and sounds great!  Hard to find a Lefty SG!  Neck is straight, truss rod works, action is comfortable, frets show some wear, but have plenty of life left.  Comes with the original brown Gibson case.  Pickups have been changed to active EMG's and sound fantastic.  Of course, the pots were changed to 25K's to accomodate the EMG's.  Tuners were changed to Schallers, vintage style, but one is gold and doesn't match the others.  Why?, I don't know.  They all work great.  The tone pot for the bridge pickup is stiff and doesn't work, so that needs replacing.  I checked on eBay and that is a $5.00 part.  Also note there is a hole cut in the back of the plastic control cavity cover and has a piece of tape on it, see pic.  No biggee, works fine, but again you might wanna replace it, another inexpensive part.  There is a mini toggle switch that was added to the control area, see pic, but it doesn't seem to do anything.  There is one finish scrape on the bottom edge, near the controls, see pic, that is through the finish.  That is the worst spot on the guitar.  The back of the neck has some of the finish worn off from use opposite the 3rd fret area, no biggee, just some wear from use.  Neck feels GREAT!  As you can see it looks nice, but shows some dings, scratches and doinks here and there, but no breaks or repairs.  Peghead is solid, as is the neck joint.  A cool guitar for a good price!  Shipping is $30 domestic, $75 Canada, $145 International locations.  Payment is by Paypal only, please.  Bid with confidence, my 11th year on eBay, people seem to like my stuff!  Thanks, Jeff
