The SG Standard has been the choice of rockers for decades. How can you argue with its seductive shape and great tone? Double cutaway, bevelled mahogany body for great tone. The one piece mahogany neck features a bound rosewood fingerboard with trapezoid inlays. Dual 498T and 490R humbuckers deliver killer tone. A Stopbar tailpiece, Tuneomatic bridge and Kluson style tuners keep it rock solid. This example is finished in classic black. A great guitar for rock, blues, punk or metal. Accept no substitutes! This is a good feeling and sounding SG. The neck is straight and has nice action. Shows some fretwear but plays fine. The pickups sound great and everything works as it should. This one is for a player. Collectors need not apply. The finish shows heavy scratches, belt wear and some dents and dings. Definitely a road warrior. The low E tuner was changed at one point and there's an extra screw hole there. The original tuner is back on. Still a cool looking and playing guitar. Comes in original hardshell case which has a busted combo lock.
