You're looking at a 2009 Gibson SG Faded with a worn cherry finish. I purchased this guitar around Christmas time of '09 and I am the original and only owner.
The SG is in mint condition and still includes all the original paperwork as well as the Gibson Gig Bag. The one thing you'll notice about this guitar is how strikingly new it will look. Well, it looks that way for that very reason! I've hardly had this thing long enough to let the dust even touch it! But, with going back to school, I gotta make ends meet.
I have installed a Seymour Duncan Distortion pick up in the bridge position, and let me tell you it really makes this guitar sing. As I intended this guitar to sound a little more metal with this pick up, what I discovered is that it created a fantastic lead tone on any rock setting as well as a crazy amount of gain. I have a fairly fresh pair of Ernie Ball Super Slinky .11 gauges on this guitar, which really help the sound of the guitar. As far as the features of the guitar go, if you're looking for a Gibson, you know what you're looking at.
I'm sorry, but I do not still possess the original bridge pick up for this guitar. However, I ensure you, this was an upgrade on any and every level possible. The neck pick up is still the original stock Gibson pick up.
As well as all Gibsons, this guitar is made in the U.S.A. and the serial number is 026590559.
*NEW* With Buy It Now, I will include a set of strap locks (chrome to match the hardware) with this purchase free of charge!
