You are bidding on a 2005 Gibson SG Standard in beautiful Heritage Cherry finish. This guitar was purchased new in late 2005 and was actually picked up at the Nashville Gibson factory, where it was built (see photo of receipt). I am the original owner. As you can see from the photos, it has been rarely played in 5 years. My estimation is that I've put a total of about 3-4 hours on it since new. The finish is fantastic and it plays great with that signature SG tone. Unfortunately, I have neither the time nor the skill to justify keeping this instrument around. I would rather see it in someones hands that can make it sing. Included in the auction will be the original Gibson case, as well as the original literature and check sheet from the QC department at the factory. I hate to see it go but you won't be disappointed.
