2005 Gibson SG Standard Electric Guitar in Black w 50s neck Factory Hard Case
Vintage Gibson EB-O Bass
Sounds, works, and plays great!
Appears to be all original except for 3 things...
1. The finger/thumb rest has been moved from the original position on the pickguard to above the low "E" string.
2. The chrome hand rest that goes over the strings, between the pickup and the bridge, has been removed, and is not included.
3. The original bridge has been swapped for what looks to be a 70's Gibson EB bridge.
According to the Gibson Blue Book, the serial # comes back as possibly a 1966, 1969, 1974, or 1975. According to pictures and details of other vintage Gibson EB-O's, I believe it's most consistant with other 66's.
The case is pretty beat up, but appears to be the original.
I recently had the bass professionally set-up and checked over at my local music store. I will also have the same music store professionally package and box-up the bass for me when it sells.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions.

*** News Flash *** After further investigation, it is about 99% certain that this is an actual 1966. Also, the bridge appears to be from a 61-64 EB-O. Thank You.
*** Note *** Brought to my attention by another ebay member... This is probably the original bridge, but is missing the mute assembly under the bridge, that was commonly found in those years. Thank you.
