Gibson SG Guitars

Up for auction is a 1999 USA Gibson SG Special electric guitar with the original Gibson hard-side case. The guitar is a great solid player, it has great action, the neck is dead straight and the frets show only a very small amount of wear. It has no cracks or repairs and is all original with the exception of the strap locks(black nylon strap with straplocks is included). It has a very comfortable neck profile and plays and sounds just like a USA made Gibson should.

Both the case and the guitar do show some road wear. The case shows a few tears and some light corrosion on the latches, but it is very solid. The lock will latch, but the combination lock does not seem to function. The guitar shows a lot of small and medium sized dings and scratches. There is some buckle rash on the back as you would expect and there are some chips in the clear on the headstock. The silver label on one of the tone knobs is missing but a new knob is only a few bucks. Overall it's a great well aged guitar and it will make a solid player.
