Olivia's Vintage would like to present this original 1971 Gibson SG Deluxe in its original Cherry finish which has faded. It has a very nice straight neck with great frets. It's all original and 100% complete including its original case. It has nicks + dings and some wear through the finish on the back of the neck. There is also some minor finish checking and other cosmetic wear. Everything remains structurally sound. It has a shallow neck angle which has required the bridge to be adjusted all the way down. Removing the adjustment thumb wheels would lower the string height, but it plays fine where it is set up now. All electronics work and sound great with its original pair of Gibson Patent # sticker pickups. Underneath the pickup surrounds are a pair of spacers that we believe to be original as we have seen them on other early '70's Gibson guitars. In the photo of the bridge pickup cavity you'll notice 3 extra screw holes that were made when someone moved the pickup closer to the bass side before securing it.
