Hello, here is a very very nice 1985 Gibson SG standard. This is the last year of the short run for the side mounted output jack (like a les paul) and the toggle switch moved back behind the tail piece. These are very cool guitars that will only go up in value. This SG is great shape for 26 years old. It has lacquer checking and yellowing going on that makes it look the part of a well aged Gibson. The chrome on this guitar is in excellent condition with no pitting or corrosion. All hardware and parts are original. I was told that this guitar should have Tim shaw humbuckers but when the strings were changed I pulled the pickups off the body to see. They are Gibson pickups but they do not have ink stamps on them so I can't say of they are Shawn's or not. At any rate this guitar is amazing. The tone, setup , action , fit and finish are all amazing. It truly is an awesome rock and roll making machine. Please ask all questions. I will answer ASAP. This SG will ship in a gator hard case.
