Gibson SG Guitars

To be clear, my eBay friends: I am not a dealer or a shop. Just a gear head, musician, recording artist, and technician. I don't have a "profit margin" - I pretty much lose money on everything I sell...I'm practically giving this one away at this price. Rest assured that none of my SGs would be on the internet this week if I didn't have to do this.

This guitar is UNIQUE. It's a total Custom guitar made with ALL GREAT STUFF! Like my Gothic SG and "Stinger Luthier Custom", NO apologies, you'll absolutely LOVE it or you'll NOT. Either way, this is one serious kick-butt USA Gibson electric guitar. Hand customized by yours truly for gig, garage, recording, and more: think of that jammin Jimmy Page Sound with coil taps!

 This is a nice adaptation for a cool Crescent Gibson SG Special. Unique, plays great, has that thicker 2000s Special neck. Plays like a dream.
Note that my custom truss rod cover is not included. I'll put on a genuine Gibson TRC before shipment.

Not Perfect:

• The headstock was once cracked. It was NOT broken off, just smacked to fold enough to wrinkle the headstock cover and put a crack on the back of the headstock cover. The repair is exceptional, although not transparent, and the guitar is extremely stable.

What's Jammin!:

• Nice Gibson pickups. Nickel covers and the NOT COMMON 4-wire splittable variety. I'm guessing these are a 490R and 496T matched pair. (I do wish Gibson would stamp the metal backings of their pickups!)
• Professionally-done top-of-the-line electronics with great coil-tapping push-pull tone knobs.
• Nice White pickguard in excellent shape. I never had the original. I like the uniqueness... stands out in a positive way
• That uncommon and very cool Crescent-moon inlay set on the ebony fretboard. NICE. 
• Great frets with lots of life in them
• Solid sound, resonant wood on this one!
