1970 GIBSON SG Standard finished in Heritage Cherry nitrocellulose lacquer. Angus Young of AC/DC uses this exact same year SG as his main axe.

Lots of chequeing, dings, nicks, edge wear and evidence of play. But don't let that put you off because the patina, tone and feel of a 42 year old Gibson that has been used for its intended purpose is just amazing. Thankfully, no signs of abuse.

No cracks in the cutaways. No neck repairs. No heel repairs or neck resets. Neck joint is perfect. No cracks at the output jack.

SGs of this vintage are VERY hard to find with no issues.

ALL ORIGINAL with the exception of changed tuners.

1-5/8" nut width, chunky neck profile. Pots all date to '69/'70. Solder joints all intact.

Well balanced and has seasoned beautifully over the last 4 + decades. Plays great with low, comfortable action. Minimal fret wear. Controls work perfectly with no static or noise. Strong, excellent sounding "Patent Sticker" Humbuckings, "Patent Number" ABR-1 bridge, Witch hat knobs, double line, double ring Klusons, long Maestro Lyre vibrola, etc.

Just set-up with new .010's, truss rod adjusted, pick-ups balanced, intonation set. Ready to play.

Impossible to find vintage Gibson hardshell case with yellow interior in excellent plus condition included.

Last of the good ones before Gibson changed the specs. A fantastic investment and a superb player!

These are getting impossible to find unbroken.
