The SG Standard has been the choice of rockers for decades. How can you argue with its seductive shape and great tone? Double cutaway, beveled mahogany body for great tone. The one piece mahogany neck features a bound rosewood fingerboard with trapezoid inlays. Dual 498T and 490R humbuckers deliver killer tone. A Stopbar tailpiece, Tuneomatic bridge and Kluson style tuners keep it rock solid. This example is finished in classic heritage cherry red, the most popular SG color. This SG plays and sounds good. Straight neck with nice action. The pickups sound good and the electronics work great.  This is a nice used example. It shows light pick and clearcoat scratches, light to moderate belt wear and a few light indents. Well taken care of. Comes in a Gibson hardshell case.
